Who We Are
ProSphere CIC is a social enterprise based in East London. We focus on breaking barriers to employment and building confidence for people who face disadvantage. We deliver tailored support through workshops, mentoring and partnerships with employers and community organisations.
Our programmes combine employability skills, personal development and inclusive engagement. We support diverse groups, including young people not in education, employment or training, ethnic minority communities, individuals who are underrepresented in the labour market and refugees who are rebuilding their lives.
About Us
We exist to create real opportunities for people to develop their skills, confidence and networks. We believe that equity, diversity and inclusion are central to progress. By working with local and national partners, we connect people to meaningful pathways into sustainable work and personal growth.
Our Services
“Opening doors to education, employment, and community through language and support.”

What We Do
We provide practical employability and confidence building sessions through workshops and mentoring. We design community programmes to support those most affected by inequality. We collaborate with employers, universities and local services to open career pathways. We create networking opportunities that connect individuals to professionals in key industries. We deliver tailored programmes for unempolyed people that include coaching, mentoring, CV support and interview preparation, helping people take control of their independence and achieve their goals.

Supporting Refugees
We recognise the unique challenges faced by refugees as they seek to build new lives in the UK. Our programmes are designed to give people control over their independence and help them set and achieve their personal goals. We offer: • One to one coaching and mentoring • CV support and application guidance • Confidence building and goal setting • Mock interviews and employability workshops This tailored support helps refugees develop the skills and confidence needed to access employment, education and community opportunities, while also creating a sense of stability and belonging.

STEM and Industry Engagement
We provide opportunities for people to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Our STEM work includes employer insight sessions, panel events and industry talks that connect participants with professionals from sectors such as artificial intelligence and creative technology. Through these sessions, participants gain practical knowledge about career pathways, develop transferable skills and build networks with employers. By linking learning with real industry opportunities, we help people understand how to enter and progress in key sectors that are shaping the future economy.

Understanding Local Employment Challenges
Employment levels have improved across London boroughs since the last census. More residents are in work and unemployment has fallen. However, the figures do not tell the full story. Many people still face barriers that prevent them from moving into secure, well paid and sustainable jobs. Many jobs in sectors such as hospitality, retail and care do not meet the London Living Wage. Being in work does not always mean being financially secure. Short term and zero hours contracts remain common, limiting stability and progression. Young people, refugees and residents from minority ethnic backgrounds are more likely to face unemployment, underemployment or insecure work. Access to training and development is uneven, leaving some without the qualifications or experience needed for better paid roles. High housing and living costs in London reduce the benefit of employment, particularly for low income families. These shared challenges highlight the importance of focusing not only on employment rates but also on the quality of work, fairness of pay and opportunities for long term growth.
